Jacob was a shadow and that is where you'd find him this evening. Sitting in the shadow corner of a busy dive down town. It was a coffee shop by day, rock club by weekend place, its name was Morning Star. He was sitting at his favorite table on the far side of serving area, left of the stage near the emergency exit. All the tables had red bulb shaped dishes that held the candles that provided the intimate soft light atmosphere, all but his. He had blown it out shortly after sitting and set a napkin over it to avoid an offer of it being relight. He didn't like flames and even those around him that flickered in the corner of his eye bothered him.
He didn't stand out from many of the patrons jeans, dark shirt, hoodie. Just another face in the crowd or at least that's what he wanted right now. He was expecting company and didn't want to turn his charming looks to attracting a meal right now. It wasn't a night for delights of the flesh. He had seen an Omen and he needed to talk to Ink about it.

Mr. Ink/ Def(3)/ Unyielding Mask 4, Blood Potency 1 / Humanity 7/ Vitae 9/ WP [x][x][x][x][x][x] Health [][][][][][][] ] I let the last whisps of cigarette smoke ooze from my mouth as I stood outside The Morning star. The summer time rain fell perpetual and lazy in the orange glow of Down town. The morning start was almost in an ally with but the smallest sign, pointing me were to go. This area was barly part of the Rack in enough of a shadey grey Zone a shade like Jacob would linger. Jacob was a strange cat to say the least but if you can get someone to willingly talk to you ona regular baisis then who can judge? I was Wearing my dark grey hoodie, and capri combo. I had the magic of shadows on I looked like any regular man on the street. The bum did't even ask me for change . I mushed the faded and dull glass door open as I steped in the room was dark and flickering besides the glaring lights behind the bar. The smell of Micro-brew beer, and coffee coated the room. I moseyed on into the bar more like a hall way with a bit of an open room at the end with a few tables. I couldn’t see Jacob. I checked my phone and made sure I was on time I was five minuets late my regular time.

Jacob felt his sight clashing against the shadows as a man entered, he didn't try to fight the mask. He had seen Ink enough times in all his horror glory, it wasn't something he enjoyed. He submitted to the other kindred's power and let it fool him into believing Ink was just another hoodie wearing club goer. He would have called out, but it would have been a waste of breath. Jacob's voice didn't carry very well.
He ran a hand through his short hair that was very just short of growing out to compose himself. That Ink was hear was a good sign, it meant the omen he saw had yet to take effect of his unlife. Jacob still wasn't sure if he was his Unlife or Ink's. He felt the shadows pulse around him covering in him, welcoming him home. He was unseen moving like a ghost and the crowd parted just enough around him to let him past. Maybe it was an abuse of power, but with the music in here no one ever heard his polite request for them to move so this was the only way to move about at any real speed.
Flowing out of the crowd by the bar he reached out for Ink, but stopped some kindred took use of The Blood on them as excuse for violence and Jacob didn't care to tangle with the Haunt. "Good to see you made it," His voice was warm and his smile genuine as the shadows melted away revealing him just out of arm's length.
